Job Opportunity: Part-Time B1KE Team Member (Tidworth B1KEpark)
B1KE Ltd is an SME specialising in developing and delivering a range of services within the mountain bike sector. We are supportive, customer-focused, and social, with a strong reputation for both community and professionalism.
This part-time role is perfect for Parents, students at college or university leavers looking for flexible work that fits around study or child commitments. It’s a great way to earn while gaining experience in the outdoor, retail, and sports industries — with clear opportunities to progress into trail building and coaching.
Hours: 15–30 hours per week, variable to cover holidays, weekends, and peak demand periods. Flexible around college timetables.
Role Overview
This diverse role combines front-of-house, operational, and practical tasks to ensure the smooth running of B1KE parks. You’ll be the first point of contact for riders, handling memberships and retail sales while also supporting site operations.
Key Duties
Welcoming visitors, checking memberships and tickets, and ensuring riders meet age/guardian requirements.
Providing excellent customer service, including answering queries and promoting memberships, retail items, and training opportunities.
Carrying out daily operational checks – ensuring facilities (toilets, signage, car parks) are safe, clean, and presentable.
Performing trail inspections and reporting maintenance needs (full training provided).
Assisting with minor trail repairs, litter collection, and upkeep of park facilities.
Supporting events, race preparations, and cross-site cover where required.
Escalating issues with rider behaviour, safety concerns, or facilities to site management.
Promoting the benefits of B1KE memberships, merchandise, and skills training.
What We’re Looking For
Friendly, approachable, and confident in customer-facing situations.
Ideal candidate will have some retail experience
Organised, reliable, and able to think on your feet.
Willing and able to perform physical tasks outdoors in all conditions.
Interest in mountain biking and outdoor activities (trail knowledge is a plus, training provided).
Clear and confident communicator (face-to-face, phone, email).
A full UK driver’s licence and vehicle is desirable but not essential.
Must be 16+ years old.
