Discover Tidworth B1KEPARK
– The South’s Hidden Gem

Despite being one of the pioneering bike parks in the South of England, Tidworth Freeride B1KEPARK may not be as widely recognised as other venues—yet. However, it is quickly gaining a reputation as a must-ride destination for mountain bikers seeking a mix of technical downhill thrills and fun. As one of the first sites to join the B1KEPARK network, Tidworth has remained a cornerstone for riders who appreciate its balance of challenge and accessibility.

A Park with History, Progressing into the Future

Originally crafted over 15 years ago by the local biking community, Tidworth has grown and evolved into a dynamic park that continues to push the limits of what a UK bike park can offer. Constantly updated to meet the ever-changing demands of the sport, Tidworth remains a rider-driven park, offering something for everyone—whether you’re a beginner honing your skills or an experienced rider chasing bigger lines.

With a selection of 8 trails, Tidworth B1KEPARK provides riders with the perfect environment to build confidence and progress their abilities. Each trail is progressively graded, allowing riders to take on jumps, drops, berms, and step-downs at their own pace. The park also features a dedicated skills area and a dirt jump zone, where riders can practice on tabletops and doubles of all sizes.

For those seeking the ultimate challenge, the park’s signature trail, White Line, continues to stand out. In 2024, we’ve made major upgrades to ensure this iconic track remains a thrill for even the most seasoned riders. With smoother berms, refined jumps, and an improved flow, White Line promises an adrenaline-fueled ride that truly tests your skills.

What’s New in 2024?

Waspy – An Old-School Classic, Reborn
Waspy—a legendary original Tidworth trail—returns! This fan-favourite has been reopened with a modern twist, maintaining its nostalgic flow while integrating new technical features to keep riders on their toes.

Humps and Bumps – Bigger Jumps, Bigger Fun
Our popular Humps and Bumps zone has been reimagined for 2024. New, larger jumps have been added, and the tabletop line has been completely rebuilt, making it easier for newer riders to start catching air while also providing room for progression for more advanced riders.

Trail Upgrades – Smoother, Faster, and More Exciting
Signature trails such as Oblivion and White Line have seen significant changes, including better berms and refined jumps, making them faster and more exciting. Additionally, our flagship race track, Hoopa Struve, now boasts superior drainage, smoother lips, and tighter lines to enhance both speed and control, cementing its reputation as one of the best race tracks in the UK.

HUMPS & BUMPS

Humps and Bumps is a jump progression area made up of a series of tabletops, berms and doubles; perfect for a warm up or a session at the end of the day. This area is fantastic for the younger rider looking to gain confidence by negotiating the tabletops, getting to grips with standing on their pedals and experiencing the exhilaration of quick acceleration as the they descend the down slopes, but just as good for the more mature rider to hone their jumping skills.
The zone is found at the bottom of the hill close to the car park.

Understand the Lozenge Grading System

The Lozenge grading pertains to the Technical Trail Features (TTFs) that the trail includes. This can be drops, steep chutes, jumps (tables or gap jumps) road-gaps and berms. The Lozenge system is applied within Singletrack Colour grading. It is important to understand both Trail grading and feature grading.

Trail GRading System

feature GRading System

A single lozenge denotes small features and indicates a more technical trail than other more feature-driven lines.

Two lozenge trails will contain technical trail features of a medium to large size. A trail with a two lozenge grade MAY contain features that can not be rolled (e.g. on a black graded trail) but MAY also have a lesser or rollable option available.

Three lozenge trails have large technical trail features.
These will be unavoidable and require suitable ability and total commitment. Riders should be capable of, and expect to leave the ground in order to complete these trails.
